In Steenwijk-West wordt al bijna 25 jaar gebouwd aan het versterken van de wijk. De huizen, straten en het groen zijn aangepakt. Ook aan de sociale kant is gewerkt (wijkvereniging, Korf, wijkwerkers). Zo is West de mooie wijk geworden die het nu is. Is de wijk dan (bijna) af?
De gemeente en Woonconcept hebben KAW gevraagd om daar de komende periode onderzoek naar te doen. Wijkmedewerkers en KAW staan daarom op 12, 18 en 19 december in de wijk. Ze hopen zoveel mogelijk bewoners te spreken over de wijk.
Er is een leuk extraatje! Voor elke bewoner die langskomt ontvangt de wijkvereniging €2,- voor het organiseren van een wijkfeest. Deze bijdrage komt van de gemeente en Woonconcept.
